HQ – The Super Speed Enterprise Hub


Athlone Chamber commissioned Momentum to complete a feasibility study into the establishment of a smart technology enterprise hub at Monksland, Athlone, Co. Roscommon.  This study uncovered some very interesting innovative and best practices – read more.



Innovative Fitness Solutions LTD


Momentum wrote the start up business plan for this fitness sector pioneer. Established in Roscommon, the company is taking the fitness world by storm. It manufactures the sásta fitness pod a  patented treadmill based fitness pod which uses vacuum technology.  The 3 year business plan is guiding the company through start up and secured considerable start up funding for establishment costs and accessed grant aid for the business for research and development, capital investment, employment programmes and training.



Rathcroghan Visitor Centre


Momentum worked with Rathcroghan Visitor Centre in the completion of their Strategic Business Plan 2013 – 2016 which set out the potential of a  new phase of investment to  realise a best practice heritage education and enjoyment facility.  The investment focused on two specific aspects:- The redevelopment of the interpretative experience at the Centre to fittingly reflect the Rathcroghan legacy in a more engaging, chronological and interactive manner. To complete environmental improvements to ensure the Centre increases its energy efficiency considerably. Momentum prepared the business plan in such a manner that was a ‘funding ready’ project proposal under the LEADER Programme



Glendeer Pet Farm


Momentum wrote the business plan for 2013- 2016  for this flagship visitor attraction in the midlands which secured considerable grant investment for the company for a major upgrade of their facilities.



Bikram Yoga Athlone


Momentum wrote the business plan for this  a dedicated, purpose-built Bikram Yoga studio owned and run by Tricia Fleming.  It was the first dedicated Bikram yoga studio outside of Dublin and Belfast and Momentum assisted the business secure LEADER funding for the kit out of the studio.



Rural Development (LEADER)  Strategies for Counties Roscommon, Leitrim and Sligo 2007-2013


Momentum led the development of Rural Development Plans for Counties Leitrim, Sligo and Roscommon assisting the Integrated Development Companies to define, articulate and agree blueprints for investment in each county’s rural economy until 2013.  The plans involved extensive community and stakeholder consultations and facilitation workshops.  These plans  levered significant resources for each county.

The preparation of a five year strategic  community development plan 2013-2017  for the Baile na Finne community in Co. Donegal involving extensive community consultations.
