The SHINE Project – Strengthening Female Community Leaders Resources

We are very proud of our work on The Shine Project, and we’d like to tell you about the Strengthening Female Community Leaders Open Education Resources. There is growing visibility and discourse surrounding female leaders in the third sector but gender equality at the leadership level is “happening too slowly and unevenly.”

The aim of the SHINE project is to upskill women with the knowledge and behaviours necessary to confidently and successfully transition into leadership roles in their third sector or community workplace.

The SHINE Strengthening Female Community Leaders Open Education Resources includes a bespoke curriculum, trainers guide, and female community leaders’ workbook designed to bring about mainstream and widespread change in the sector.

This free course contains 6 modules and is designed for you to explore in your own time:

Module One: Foundations of Contemporary Leadership
Module Two: Identifying Strengths of Female Leaders
Module Three: The World Needs Women to Take the Lead
Module Four: Leadership Style
Module Five: Six Essential Areas of Implementing Leadership in the Third Sector
Module Six: Empowering and Nurturing Female Leaders of the Future
