PatENT Project Launches Documentary Premiere Showcasing Migrant Entrepreneurial Success Across Europe

Drumshanbo, Leitrim Thursday, 19th — The PatENT Project, a groundbreaking Erasmus+ initiative, is proud to announce the premiere of its highly anticipated documentary. This film highlights the inspiring journeys of migrant entrepreneurs across Europe, demonstrating their resilience, creativity, and contributions to innovation. The documentary aims to inspire youth, educators, and stakeholders by showcasing real-life stories of entrepreneurship, innovation, and the protection of intellectual property.

A Pan-European SCOPE

Produced and directed by TecMinho (Portugal), the documentary is the result of a collaborative effort from all project partners. Each partner contributed by interviewing migrant entrepreneurs, capturing their stories to highlight the power of resilience and innovation in shaping successful careers.

The premiere events will take place in five partner countries, with each event hosted by one of the project’s established educational hubs. In total, the events will engage over 225 youth, youth workers, and educators, directly involving local communities in discussions about entrepreneurship and innovation. Estonia will host a virtual premiere, welcoming participants from across Europe through its Learning Library.

Empowering Through Education

The documentary not only shares personal success stories but also serves as an educational tool, teaching participants about:

– The potential of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
– Entrepreneurial skills and innovation.
– The role of migrants in driving economic and social growth.

“This documentary is more than a film—it’s a movement to change perceptions and inspire action,” said Sanja Ivandic, Project Manager at Outside Media & Knowledge. “It’s about showing what’s possible when we embrace diversity and recognize the incredible potential of migrant entrepreneurs.”

About the Events

The premiere events will take place in Lithuania, Germany, Portugal, Ireland, each tailored to engage at least 40 participants per country. In Estonia, the event will be fully virtual, attracting over 100 attendees. These premieres are designed to not only showcase the documentary but also promote the educational hubs and their resources, including training opportunities and mentorship programs.
