The Leitrim Employer Awards Evening took place on Thursday, May 7th and was organised by Leitrim Development Company through WorkAbility Leitrim. The awards evening brought together employers, and organisations committed to building more inclusive workplaces in the county.
Momentum’s nomination was submitted through the European project Promote for the category of Inclusion- Leading the Way.. The mission of Promote is to empower highly skilled migrant women by unlocking their career potential and facilitating meaningful integration into the labour market. Promote is managed by European Project Specialist Sam Carty, and Momentum’s founder Orla Casey. Representing Momentum on the evening were Lola Gonzalez their DIB EU Project Specialist, and Val Robus their Digital Media Specialist.
Held under the theme “Working Together for an Inclusive Leitrim,” the awards highlighted the growing importance of creating workplaces and communities where everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and thrive. The evening celebrated employers and organisations helping to break down barriers to employment while championing inclusive practices across the county.
Although Momentum didn’t take home the award this year, the nomination itself reflects the organisation’s strong reputation for advancing inclusive values through education, partnership-building, and EU-funded social impact initiatives. The event provided an opportunity to connect with organisations and advocates from across Leitrim who are actively working toward a more accessible and welcoming workplaces.
Momentum Consulting congratulates all nominees, and winners from the evening and looks forward to continuing to support inclusive communities, and workplaces in Leitrim.
