Momentum Celebrates International Youth Day

Today is International Youth Day, and this year’s IYD coincides with the upcoming 30th anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth.

We are proud to work on some wonderful European projects that aim to empower and support young people. We would like to take this opportunity to give you a brief introduction to some of them.

The Modes Project aims to strengthen the learning experiences of international students by providing and enhancing the skills of higher education teachers to create inclusive classrooms. You can find more information on the website: https://modes.unilink.it/

The FabConnectHer project takes what we all know as solutions to increase the numbers of girls and women in STEAM e.g. more mentoring, greater visibility of female role models, training strands that start young but build and grow, and combine them in highly accessible offering. The My Peace (Music for Youth) Project enables a peace building approach through empowering youth to be engaged in the peacebuilding process in a way that is attractive and close to youth, through the vessel of music. https://mypeaceproject.eu

The HeadStart project aims to empower young women to tackle the AI gender gap through targeted education and mentorship. Our project will equip young women and youth educators with the essential skills and resources for a future in AI. https://headstart-ai.eu/

The Inclusive Paths Project aims to enhance the mental health and social inclusion of vulnerable adolescents by implementing innovative Animal-Assisted Interventions. Memory Makers is an educational initiative focused on engaging youth in historical education and remembrance. The project wants to empower young people to learn and share historical narratives in innovative ways. https://memory-makers.eu/

The Planet Pulse Project, aims to confront youth climate anxiety, transforming climate-concerned young people into advocates who are equipped to create change in their communities. Visit the website to find out more: https://planet-pulse.eu/

The Paths to Peace Project is committed to equipping young people with the tools to promote peace through tourism, dialogue, and local action. VALUES (Venturing into AI: Learning for an Unbounded, Ethical, and Sustainable Europe) empowers young Europeans with cutting-edge AI skills and ethical understanding.
