Today marks International Migrants Day, a moment to recognise the importance of safer, fairer, and more inclusive migration systems. Too often, these systems lack the understanding, investment, and evidence needed to respond to today’s global challenges. This year’s theme, “My Great Story: Cultures and Development,” celebrates how human mobility fuels growth, enriches societies, and enables communities to connect, adapt, and support one another.
Momentum is proud to be a signatory of the Diversity Charter Ireland. We are committed to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace through an approach that is thoughtfully aligned with the Irish context.
We’d like to highlight some of our projects that support migrants and refugees.

INCLUDE ME+ is responding to the NEED to improve digital media literacy and combat the negative impact that it can have within communities. This has been exacerbated by COVID, wartime and natural catastrophes in Europe isolate citizens further and pose a threat to resilience, progress and peace. The Include Me+ project aims to make digital media inclusive. https://includememedia.eu/
The Open EU Project aims to combat prejudice, inequality and the politics of anti-immigrant fear permeating across Europe. It unlocks the potential of inclusive storytelling, communities of practice and informal adult learning via podcasting to bring shared human stories from locals, migrants and displaced persons to life, creating safe spaces for connection, learning, creative reflection, common values and hope. More details to follow in the coming weeks.
