Recently, we travelled to Szczecin University in Poland to meet with our FAIRPRENEURS Project Partners. FAIRPRENEURS – Ethical, Fair and Green Youth Entrepreneurship Education in line with the Sustainable Development Goals – is an Erasmus + Project funded under the 2022 KA220-YOU – Cooperation Partnerships in Youth Funding Call.
Fairpreneurs will enable youth educators to support young entrepreneurs to start a green, fair and sustainable business in line with the SDGs by conveying entrepreneurial skills and closing knowledge gaps while at the same time raising their awareness of socially and environmentally sustainable entrepreneurship.
The project partners agree that sustainability and ethical business practices should be put at the centre of a business model right from the start. With the Fairpreneurs project, we aim at helping young entrepreneurs to anchor sustainability in their business strategy and thus be prepared for global challenges, build resilience, competitiveness and impact on an economy that works for people.
The project team discussed the following topics:
- Entrepreneurial learning – entrepreneurship education
- Green skills
- Inclusion, promoting equality and non-discrimination
Partners include organisations from Germany, Denmark, Cyprus and Poland as well as Irish participation from CEAI and Momentum Consulting.
