Momentum is delighted to join CEC – Acting for Social Inclusion, a Brussels-based network bringing together national and regional organisations from across Europe. CEC’s mission is to strengthen and support European partnerships that promote the social and professional integration of people facing barriers to employment. Its work focuses on developing technical, social, and behavioural skills through tailored training programmes, hands-on work experience, and integration pathways that respond to labour market needs.
CEC connects 1,600 local associations and structures including local authorities, schools, vocational training centres, work-based training enterprises, social cooperatives, social enterprises, and residential services. Together, these organisations support the training and the social and vocational integration of over 100,000 young people and adults in Europe.

For over 20 years, CEC has promoted collaboration among its members to enable participation in European projects, drive innovation, and share effective, experience-based practices. It has coordinated and participated in a wide range of programmes such as Erasmus+, Progress, CERV, and the European Social Fund (ESF).
This closely aligns with Momentum’s commitment to inclusion, democratic resilience, and community-led innovation by creating accessible pathways to entrepreneurship, active citizenship, and skills development. As active participants in Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, CERV, AMIF, and ESF+, Momentum will contribute expertise in dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and European project development to the CEC network. Through CEC’s regular events, debates, and meetings, Momentum looks forward to collaborating with members, exchanging knowledge, building partnerships and co-creating new ideas to advance our shared mission of social inclusion.
