Momentum to Host Celebration of Belonging

We are inviting members of the Leitrim community to come celebrate with us Belonging on Saturday the 26th of August at St. George’s Heritage and Visitor Centre in Carrick on Shannon. This event is part of our Bestie Club where we celebrate intercultural and intergenerational exchanges of learning. We will feature Polish artist Kasia Religa and Irish musician Deasun Lyons. We will have a brilliant Conversation Café with networking time to close our event.

Our guest speaker for the celebration is Amina Moustafa. Amina is a Development Officer at SARI and a Glencree Women’s Leadership Programme Manager. SARI was founded in 1997 and it’s a charitable organization dedicated to inclusion, diversity, and equality through sport. Glencree is a non-government organization founded in 1974. They played an important role in the Irish Peace Process, bringing together through confidential dialogue those in conflict and helping to build relationships across divides. The Women’s Leadership Programme started in 2004 with an all-island vision where women are empowered and supported to be influential in the political process and promote peacebuilding.

The event is free and you can register by emailing our Inclusion and EU Project Specialist Lola Gonzalez at lola@momentumconsulting.ie
