Blockchain technology is one of the biggest innovations of the 21st century and it has had a ripple effect on various sectors, from financial to manufacturing as well as education. Unknown to many, is that the history of Blockchain dates back to the early 1990s. Over the last 30 years, Blockchain technologies and the infrastructure surrounding it (digital skills and required investment) has matured making it more accessible but more needs to be done to help SME’s embrace blockchain technology and advance in the digital global economy. This is where BEGIN blockchain comes in.
BEGIN blockchain is working to create three innovative resources:
⦁ Guide to Blockchain Skills Development for SMEs and Start-ups which introduces the importance of Blockchain training for SMEs with high growth potential and educates entrepreneurship educators on how to approach skills’ building in this field.
⦁ BEGIN Problem-based Learning Resources are designed for use by entrepreneurship educators in small groups or coaching scenarios with their SME/entrepreneur clients
⦁ BEGIN Online Course is a multilingual, interactive self-learning course for SME managers and entrepreneurs
