Con Bartels is Momentum’s Sustainability & Culture Specialist. Con is a Bachelor of Business Studies graduate from Trinity College Dublin, which he followed with a Postgraduate Diploma in Design Thinking for Sustainability at the UCD Innovation Academy.

Con thrives in designing and collaborating projects that drive social change, sustainable innovation and cultural development. His blend of Business, Sustainability, and Design Thinking is valued in his projects ‘Street Culture Entrepreneurship for Regions’, ‘Future Festival Tools’, ‘Cultural Social Innovation Europe’, and ‘FUSION: Festivals as Social Innovation Incubators’.    His Design Thinking specialism is also valued in our Irish project work, including training social enterprises in the West of Ireland, and developing a new strategy for a national body of enterprise centres.

Con’s focus on culture and sustainability at work is mirrored by his personal enthusiasm for international travel, experiencing different cultures, international cuisine, and the great outdoors. Con has been known to champion team building activities, and his cocktail making skills are coming to the fore as the Momentum team get in meet in person once again.
