The Wellhoody Project Meeting in Germany

The Wellhoody (Wellbeing in Diverse Youth Communities) Transnational Partner Meeting took place in Germany recently. This was a bitter sweet meeting, as it was the last in-person meeting for this project.

WELLHOODY is an innovative approach that will upskill YOUTH educators & communities in racially diverse communities to empower youth wellbeing & recognise strengths that are coming from diversity. In the process, they will equip young people to be active citizens, encouraging them to build inclusive diverse youth communities where everyone is welcome and can participate.

It was a great chance for the partners to meeting in person and look at the project progress so far. Work is being done around pilot testing the resources, and also making sure that the online platform is user friendly.

The project partners will be setting up Wellhoody Clubs, so that likeminded people can meet up and make connections. The plan is to have the clubs up and running in May. The team also discussed the Multiplier events, which are set to take place in late May or early June.
