We are busy working on Eminent, this project aims at supporting female migrant entrepreneurs. We know it can be particularly hard for women who move to a new country and to add starting a business to the mix it can become very daunting. We hope to help with this issue with the knowledge and expertise of Momentum and our European Partners.
The Eminent Project has a clear goal: increase the number of female migrant entrepreneurs by transforming their access to and the quality of the training they receive from entrepreneurship VET institutions.
We looked at the some of the issues faced by female migrant entrepreneurs when they want to start their own business. These issues include access to finance, childcare issues, cultural and language barriers, access to local business networks, and more. You can review these issues in detail on our Good Practice Compendium Document, which you can download here: https://www.eminentproject.eu/good-practice-compendium/
Our Momentum team are putting the final touches to a new entrepreneurship course developed specially for female migrants. While waiting for that to be published, we invite you to check out our Open Online Exchange Platform that enables female migrant entrepreneurs to. access virtual talks, see interviews with female migrants, entrepreneurs, and so much more. You will come away from the platform inspired and motivated. https://www.eminentproject.eu/open-online-platform-en/
You also have the opportunities to connect with their peers through a closed Eminent Facebook Group which we are using as our Knowledge Exchange Platform. Join us on https://www.facebook.com/groups/130967562215640/
