We are working on the Future Festival Tools Project. The entertainment industry, including festivals were one of the first industries to close during the pandemic, and one of the last to restart. This project that will bring a team of European experts together to tackle the industry’s environmental impact by creating tools, resources & training for the festival industry.
We’re looking for festival and event professionals to pilot test the Future Festival Tools, this is a set of free-to-access training products for events professionals to improve environmental impacts, it will be launched for the EU events industry at ADE Green, Amsterdam, October 2022. The resources include a self-assessment tool to understand current environmental performance, a best-practice guide offering inspiring stories of sustainability in events across Europe, a certificated eLearning course to upskill on how to improve environmental impacts, and a trainers’ handbook for vocational education. Seven game changing organisations are working together to create this world-leading resource including Green Events Netherlands, Julie’s Bicycle, Le LABA, Christopher Johnson, Green Music Initiative, GO Group, The Nationwide Caterers Association (NCASS) and EUEI.
