VALUES is an Erasmus+ project dedicated to empowering young Europeans with the knowledge, skills, and ethical understanding needed to thrive in a future shaped by Artificial Intelligence.
In this blog post we’d like to tell you more about the VALUES Ethical AI Starter Kit.
Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday life. From education and work to social media and communication, AI is already influencing how we make decisions, create content and interact with technology.
That makes understanding AI, and the ethical questions around it increasingly important. That’s where the VALUES Ethical AI Starter Kit can help. The kit has been developed to help youth workers, educators and trainers explore these issues with young people.
Rather than focusing solely on how AI works, the resources encourage users to think about the impact AI can have on people and society.
The kit includes three main resources:
1. Ethical AI Fundamental Guide
Learn the basics of AI and its ethical principles, including how to guide youth in AI discussions.
2. Practical Applications of AI in Youth Work
Discover hands-on ways to use AI in youth work, including lesson planning, creativity and inclusion, and more.
3. AI in Action: Case Studies from Youth Work
Explore examples of AI in action, including successes and challenges, and inspiration for your own work.
