Recently, the Plant Power project partners gathered in Nitra for a transnational meeting that marked an important moment in the project’s journey. The team reflected on the progress of their Open Educational Resources and made plans for the development of the online course.
Plant Power is about transformation: equipping SMEs, educators, and policymakers with the tools to embrace plant-based innovation and sustainability across Europe’s food sector. That ambition depends not only on strong outputs, but on strong partnerships.
Across the sessions, partners reviewed progress across key work packages; from practical training resources to open educational content designed to support innovation in plant-based product development.
The project has moved from concept to delivery, with tangible outputs now supporting learners, educators, and businesses across Europe.
With final phases approaching, discussions turned to impact and how to ensure that the project’s results are not only completed, but embedded, scaled, and sustained.
While digital collaboration underpins the project, there’s no substitute for face-to-face engagement. In Nitra, conversations flowed more freely, and the team had a chance to take a closer look at the resources. New connections formed and existing partnerships strengthened.
By supporting SMEs to innovate, the Plant Power project contributes to a more resilient, sustainable food system.
