The Housing Care Project team met in Teramo, Italy recently. Teramo is a city and commune in the Italian region of Abruzzo, the capital of the province of Teramo. The ancient city, is situated between the highest mountains of the Apennines and the Adriatic coast. This is where our project partner Italia Salute are based and Teramo is close to the HQ of our Lead partner Il Mio Futoro.
It was our last transnational partner meeting of the project where all partners came together to make some final quality tweaks to our resources and to discuss the success of our recent pilot-test of the WBL (Work-Based-Learning) Toolkit which was tested by 80 care-workers in Italy, Denmark, Ireland & Spain.
We also discussed the impending Multiplier events that were in the pipeline. These Multiplier Events would be used to share & promote the Housing Care Project with relevant stakeholders in our respective regions.
For a short while the focus was turned to the project team. We were interviewed on our roles, thoughts, and learnings while participating in the Housing Care Project. www.housingcare.net
Although Erasmus+ projects are predominately created and focused on equipping and empowering our target groups (in this case VET educators and Care workers) it is also important to reflect on the enhancements and learnings that occur within the project team. As a consortium, we gained valuable knowledge on the profile of care workers in our regions and the differences between some nations. We also enhanced our collaboration and project management skills and importantly we built friendships.
We’d like to thank our project partners for their hard work on this project: Il Mio Futoro, Fundación Tecnologías Sociales (TECSOS), Ageing Lab, Italia Salute, SOSU Ostjylland, Roscommon LEADER Partnership.
