VINTA is a 24-month Erasmus+ cooperation partnership project focused on transforming gender inclusion in the brewing, distilling, and winemaking sectors across Europe. The project was launched at a Kick-off meeting hosted by the lead partner, BIA Innovator Campus in Galway.
VINTA aims to empower women to enter, advance, and lead in the alcohol industry through innovative VET pathways, mentorship, and industry-wide inclusion strategies.
Momentum is one of six consortium partners who will work on the project over the next two years, developing flexible, modular training programmes, a digital learning hub, and open educational resources, providing women with technical, leadership, and business skills to boost career mobility and entrepreneurship.
The first output of the project is the Eye Opener research series, which is mapping gender representation, barriers, and opportunities across brewing, distilling, and winemaking across all the Partner countries. The research is being carried out through a series of surveys, in-depth interviews and round table events with industry stakeholders and is due for publication in Summer 2026.
The project partners, who are based in Ireland, France, Denmark, Portugal, and Ukraine, hope that VINTA drives lasting change across education systems, industry culture, and European workforce development, building a more inclusive and resilient future for the alcohol sector.
