The Climate Champions project provides biodiversity-focused communities at the local and national level with the means and tools to educate and build themselves as champions in the fight against climate change . climate change. In this way, they contribute to achieving 6 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
By participating in the project, community members and volunteers will gain additional knowledge and skills to implement effective actions in their fight against climate change.

This resource will up-skill community champions to be positioned to create immediate social impact. A single Champion can create a ripple effect of biodiverse & climate change actions.
30 case studies collected from biodiversity and climate action changemaker’s at the community level throughout Europe, will consolidate sources of information in one place.
Will equip participants to lead their community group through series of climate change and biodiversity specific steps to define long term goals, identify measurable indicators of success, and then work back to formulate actions and the ‘mini-steps” that must be taken to achieve those goals.
