Project Description

The Plant Power Project is dedicated to transforming Europe’s food sector through innovation and sustainability. The partnership believes in the power of knowledge and collaboration to drive positive change. Our project provides practical, accessible tools and training materials to help SMEs create innovative, eco-conscious products. For VET providers, we offer tailored resources to enhance their courses and equip learners with skills for the growing plant-based market. Policymakers gain strategies to promote sustainable growth, economic resilience, and climate action.

Our project resources include an Inspirational Good Practice Guide to Plant-Based Food Innovation that showcases good practices from across Europe to inspire and equip VET educators and SMEs. It provides actionable insights into plant-based food innovation, highlighting the opportunities for growth and sustainability. In addition, we have developed Open Education Resources for Innovative Plant-Based Food Development tailored to VET educators and food SMEs. These include lesson plans, case studies, and multimedia content designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurial skills, and sustainability practices. Furthermore, we provide an Online Course for Plant-Based Product Development Education that equips SME owners and employees with practical skills in product innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. The online course is complemented by an interactive learner’s workbook.
